The Association
A non-profit association running colocation racks, with no commercial ambitions and a volunteer board.
Purpose
From our statutes:
The association exists to operate one or more colocation racks in a datacentre. It promotes personal exchange between like-minded people. The association pursues no commercial aims and seeks no profit. Its officers serve on a voluntary basis.

Annual membership fee
Our membership fee is currently CHF 80 per year.
Membership is a precondition for putting hardware in the rack. See becoming a member for how that works, or go straight to the application form.
Memberships
RIPE NCC
As a Local Internet Registry we are a member of the RIPE NCC.
SwissIX
We are a member of the SwissIX association and are present at the exchange with 2 × 10 Gbit/s.
RING node
Our NLNOG RING node is reachable as communityrack01.
RIPE Atlas
We also contribute to measuring internet connectivity with RIPE Atlas probes.
Registered office and administrative office
The association’s registered office is in Zürich. Since 1 July 2022 we also run an administrative office in Dietikon, with a real letterbox and a modest archive and store. See contact for both addresses.
